Corporate Controller (Aggregate Construction & Logistics)Drive profitability, ERP implementation, and operational cost accounting for an industry leader.We are seeking a hands-on, strategically-minded Corporate Controller with a background in CPA/CA Public Accounting and deep operational experience in Aggregate Construction, Bulk Hauling, or Logistics. If you excel at accelerating the monthly close, refining asset-heavy cost structures, and leading enterprise ERP optimizations, apply today.Core Skills & Qualifications Public Accounting Foundation: Active CPA or CA license with foundational experience in public accounting audits. Financial Reporting & Close: Mastery of complex consolidated financial statements, variance analysis, and managing tight month-end closes (reporting by the 10th business day). Industrial Cost Accounting: Proven track record building cost frameworks for multi-location plants, quarries, or regional trucking fleets to monitor job profitability. ERP Process Improvement: Direct experience spearheading ERP implementation and optimization to scale automated accounting functions (AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory). Industry Compliance & Logistics: Fluent in specialized asset management, including IFRA reporting, license plate renewals, quarry compliance, and lien waivers.Key Responsibilities Financial Control & Strategy: Oversee all general ledger structures, cash management, debt analysis, inter-company allocations, and external auditor preparation. Operational Profitability: Partner directly with the President and operational department heads to build unit-level P&Ls, manage expenses, and identify cost inefficiencies. Risk & Corporate Governance: Manage accounts receivable collection risks, complete sales/real estate tax filings, and lead annual liability/workers' compensation insurance renewals. Leadership & Culture: Supervise, mentor, and delegate to the internal accounting staff team while driving a progressive, data-led company culture.
