Overview

The Corporate Banking Relationship Manager at Amerant Bank plays a crucial role in maximizing the bank's revenue through maintaining and developing client relationships. This role involves promoting and cross-selling banking products and services while providing personalized attention to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote and cross-sell products and services through various communication channels
  • Develop and maintain Corporate Banking relationships with local businesses
  • Provide financial solutions to meet commercial business needs
  • Evaluate and manage the credit portfolio according to bank policies
  • Make recommendations for loan approvals and present to Loan Committee when necessary
  • Manage customer transactions to control risks and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Represent Amerant Bank in community and economic development activities

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Three or more years of Corporate or Middle Market banking experience
  • Proven commercial lending and credit experience
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of commercial banking products and services
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Understanding of operations, credit guidelines, and banking regulations
