Job Summary As a Corporate Accounting Supervisor with ISC, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day corporate accounting functions of a growing private equity backed MGA. This role supervises the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and compliance with GAAP while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.The Corporate Accounting Supervisor leads and develops accounting staff, maintains strong internal controls, and drives process improvements to support scalability and growth. Position Responsibilities Supervise the monthly and annual close processReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesOversee accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany transactionsReview monthly financial statementsSupport preparation of lender reporting and debt covenant complianceAssist with year-end financial auditProvide supporting schedules, reconciliations, and financial information for tax filingsSupport acquisition accounting for mergers and acquisitionsSupervise staff accountants, including reviewing work product and provide coaching and performance feedbackComplete special projects and financial analyses as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred5-8 years of accounting experienceDemonstrated oral and written communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with team members and provide solid customer service to clientsAbility to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and work independentlyHighly organized with a strong attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Accounting systemsAccounting for an insurance MGA experience a plusThe starting annual pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits. ISC's salary ranges are determined by role and level.
