Overview

The Corporate Accounting Analyst at J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is a pivotal role that connects Finance, Accounting, and technology to ensure efficient workflows using Deltek Vantagepoint. This position is suited for individuals who excel in problem-solving and thrive in collaborative environments, contributing to both financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and improve finance and accounting workflows within Deltek
  • Translate business requirements into structured, system-aligned processes
  • Identify gaps between current practices and system capabilities
  • Partner with the accounting team to ensure alignment with financial reporting and compliance expectations
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Ensure integrity of general ledger through reconciliations and validation of outputs
  • Identify data inconsistencies and drive resolution through process improvements
  • Provide training and ongoing support for effective use of Deltek
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure clear business requirements
  • Maintain documentation of workflows and process expectations

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in related roles
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Deltek Vantagepoint
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Experience in business process design and workflows
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, SQL, and PowerBI
