Job Description

Overview

The Coordinator, Gift Planning at the University of Illinois Foundation will support the Office of Gift Planning and Trust Services. This role involves serving the needs of both internal and external constituents and assisting in securing charitable gifts by managing administrative tasks and communicating with key university stakeholders and donors.

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage technology for donor identification, qualification, cultivation, and solicitation.
  • Support daily operational processes and project management for the gift planning team.
  • Assist in CRM management, data entry, and reporting related to advancement work.
  • Design and develop donor proposals and acknowledgment letters.
  • Communicate effectively with university colleagues and donors.
  • Evaluate prospect engagement methods and steward donor relationships.
  • Maintain knowledge about tax laws and charitable gift planning best practices.
  • Complete special projects and provide office support for GPTS.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree
