Overview

As a Cook at Aramark, you will bring recipes to life while expressing your creativity in food preparation. You will work with fresh ingredients and top-notch equipment, engaging in different cuisines and cooking techniques while adhering to safety and production guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to standardized recipes
  • Set up workstation with necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items
  • Safely use utensils and operate kitchen equipment like ovens and stoves
  • Apply various cooking methods including baking, roasting, and steaming
  • Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
  • Store food properly according to food safety policies
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
  • Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor
  • Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures

Required skills
