Overview

Rock City Gardens is looking for a skilled Cook to join their Food & Beverage team in a beautiful natural setting. The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items while ensuring food safety and cleanliness, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent guest service aligned with the company's mission and culture
  • Prepare and cook food according to menu specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain food quality, taste, and appearance consistency
  • Monitor portion control and waste to minimize product loss
  • Follow health code and sanitation standards to maintain high health inspection scores
  • Assist in inventory monitoring and communicate ordering needs
  • Support daily kitchen operations and maintain a clean working environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required skills

  • Minimum of two years of previous food service experience
  • Willingness to obtain ServSafe Certification
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and operational documents
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic math skills for handling money
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

What the company offers
