Overview

The Village at Mill Landing is seeking an experienced Cook to join their team in Rochester, New York. The Cook will be responsible for daily food production and meal preparation, ensuring that the dining experience meets the preferences and quality standards of residents in a hospitality-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily food production.
  • Perform basic food preparation, including stocks, soups, and vegetables.
  • Understand and prioritize residents' preferences.
  • Ensure tasks are performed error-free and meet quality standards.
  • Follow menu specifications.

Required skills

  • 1 - 2 years' cooking experience preferred.
  • Above average food production skills.
  • Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate.
