Overview

Quail Park of Lynnwood is seeking a Cook to join their Signature Dining Team, responsible for managing the dining experience of seniors by ensuring meals are delicious, safe, and presented attractively. This role requires following health standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Cook and prep all food according to Signature Dining Standards.
  • Ensure proper food storage by covering, labeling, and dating food.
  • Follow safe food handling techniques.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
  • Complete deep cleaning procedures as scheduled.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 1-year applicable food service experience.
  • Experience in hotel/restaurant or senior living.
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Strong commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English.
  • Compliance with health-related and food-handling requirements.
  • Current CPR/First Aid and Food Handler's credentials.
