Overview

BHE GT&S is seeking a Controls Technician I or II for their New Hartford, New York location. The ideal candidate will handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation control circuits and equipment for natural gas processes, ensuring effective operation and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation control circuits and equipment for natural gas processes
  • Perform routine calibration and functional testing of process instruments and devices
  • Document calibration data collected during inspections
  • Utilize equipment such as laptops and multimeters for troubleshooting
  • Train personnel on meter indicator readings and maintenance procedures
  • Interprets specifications for instrumentation and control device installations
  • Assist in the design, programming, and operation of instrument and control systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
