Job Description

Overview

As a Controls Engineer at Amazon Data Services, you will be integral to ensuring the operational excellence of AWS data centers. You will troubleshoot and manage building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS), collaborating with a diverse team to maintain high safety and security standards while innovating in the controls space.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or Corrective Action (CA) for control systems
  • Manage the scope of BMS and EPMS in operational AWS Data Centers
  • Train and assist internal customers with BMS and EPMS creation and operations
  • Provide technical support during the data center lifecycle
  • Develop project scope of work, schedule, and budget for BMS & EPMS projects
  • Assist in procurement activities related to BMS and EPMS
  • Participate in global on-call schedule for immediate technical support
  • Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and navigate challenging situations
  • Frequently visit in-operation data centers for troubleshooting and compliance supervision
