Job Description

Overview

The Controller at JARP Industries Inc. is responsible for managing all general ledger accounting functions, budgeting and forecasting, as well as overseeing capital expenditures and risk management. This onsite role requires substantial experience in accounting within a manufacturing context.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure cash, invoicing, budget vs actual, and payroll reporting is completed as required
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide oversight of capital expenditures
  • Oversee cash collections and credit authorization
  • Prepare cash flow reporting
  • Complete month-end reporting
  • Responsible for financial reporting
  • Oversee A/R and A/P processing
  • Prepare for annual financial audit and R&D tax credit
  • Provide management reports and information processing
  • Maintain internal controls
  • Manage risk

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting
  • Experience with cost accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Manufacturing knowledge and experience
