Job Description

Overview

The Controller at JARP Industries Inc is responsible for managing all general ledger accounting functions, budgeting and forecasting, and oversight of risk management and capital expenditures. This role is onsite only and requires significant accounting experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure completion of cash, invoicing, budget vs actual, and payroll reporting
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Oversee capital expenditures
  • Manage cash collections and credit authorization
  • Report on cash flow
  • Complete month-end reporting
  • Handle financial reporting
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processing
  • Prepare for annual financial audit and R&D tax credit
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and annual management reports
  • Maintain internal controls
  • Manage risk management processes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting
  • Experience with cost accounting
  • Experience with financial reporting
  • Knowledge of internal controls
  • Manufacturing experience
