Job Description

Overview

Amrize is seeking a Controller - Cement to assist in the financial management and reporting for the cement product line. This role focuses on providing financial insights, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and improving the understanding of business drivers to maximize results.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide financial support to senior management and analyze financial results.
  • Assist in Financial Planning activities including monthly forecasts and Mid-Term plans.
  • Perform financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile asset and liability accounts.
  • Manage accounting and reporting functions at the market area level.
  • Ensure adherence to company financial policies and controls.
  • Oversee inventory and fixed assets management.
  • Promote a culture of safety in all work environments.

Required skills

  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • At least 5 years of financial management experience.
  • Professional accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CPA, or CA).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and SAP.
  • Knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP considered an asset.
  • Strong financial/business analysis and cost control skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
