Job Description

Overview

Amrize is seeking a Controller - Cement to contribute to the financial management of the cement product line. This role involves providing financial support to senior management, conducting analysis of financial results, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities, all aimed at maximizing business performance and results.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide financial support and analysis to senior management
  • Assist in financial planning activities, including monthly forecasts and Mid-Term plans
  • Perform financial modeling and quantitative analysis
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile asset and liability accounts
  • Manage accounting and reporting functions at the market area level
  • Ensure financial reporting accuracy and adherence to company policies
  • Oversee inventory and fixed asset management

Required skills

  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • At least 5 years of financial management experience
  • Professional accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CPA, or CA)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and SAP
  • Knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP
  • Strong financial/business analysis and cost control skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence with and without authority
