Job Description

Overview

Amrize is seeking a Controller - Cement to support the financial management of its cement product line. The role involves providing financial guidance, ensuring accurate reporting, and promoting efficient financial practices to enhance operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide financial support to senior management and analyze financial results
  • Assist in financial planning activities including budgeting and forecasting
  • Perform financial modeling and quantitative analysis
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile asset and liability accounts
  • Manage accounting and reporting functions at market area level
  • Maintain financial controls and oversee adherence to company policies
  • Oversee and manage inventory and fixed assets
  • Communicate and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies

Required skills

  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • At least 5 years of financial management experience
  • Professional accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CPA, or CA)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and SAP
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
  • Strong financial/business analysis and cost control skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to influence with and without authority
