Overview

Brasure's Pest Control Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Controller to join their finance team. This role involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards, producing financial statements, and managing month-end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries
  • Produce precise financial statements in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with external accounting firms
  • Manage month-end closing activities
  • Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Required skills

  • Proficiency in reconciliations and general ledger functions
  • Familiarity with balance sheets and accounting software
  • Ability to perform account reconciliations and accruals
  • Knowledge of fixed assets and internal control procedures
  • Experience in financial reporting
  • Strong aptitude for financial analysis
  • Understanding of accounts receivable processes
  • Quick Books knowledge
