The Controller will manage all aspects ofaccounting: billing, financial statements, general ledger, project accounting, payroll, accountspayable, accounts receivable, inventory, and revenue recognition.Core Responsibilities:Oversee monthly accounting close processOversees accounting inventory values and proceduresResponsible for cash flow reportingPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing informationMaintain fixed assets recordsThe ability to interface with outside accounting firm to coordinate flow of financials forincome tax purposes.Leads Accounting Team by evaluating the performance of personnel, recommendcontinuous improvement ideas, and participate in hiring, training and evaluatingperformance of teamPerforms General and Project Accountant duties as neededOther duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 10+ years of relevant Accounting experience is required. Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office programs required. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and legislation. Managerial experience is required. Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills. Team player and able to work with various partners, including some high profile, from start tofinish.Compensation:G.A.
