Job Description

Overview

The Control Technician at Bath & Body Works is responsible for performing maintenance, modifications, and repairs on controls for various building equipment and material handling systems within the distribution center. This includes troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, as well as following safety procedures and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow lockout-tag out and confined space procedures for safety
  • Perform program changes and monitor PLCs and PMS
  • Troubleshoot and repair controls and associated field devices
  • Complete work orders and track parts and inventory used
  • Document work order activities according to MP2 requirements
  • Solve and repair low and high voltage controls
  • Read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Use electrical diagnostic equipment for testing

Required skills

  • Minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience with PLCs, conveyors, controls, and operating systems
  • Electrical experience with high and low voltage, AC and DC
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of Automatic Identification systems
  • Proficiency in PC software and hardware
  • Experience in programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
