Overview

The Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving instrumentation and control systems to support production, quality, and safety goals in a plant environment. This role involves managing systems, service contracts, and implementing changes to ensure compliance with business needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain instrumentation and control systems for plant production and quality
  • Ensure systems meet documentation and validation requirements
  • Manage service contracts and software licenses
  • Design and implement changes to control systems

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in the chemical industry
  • Experience with process control systems such as DeltaV, Allen Bradley PLCs, Provox DCS, Foxboro I/A DCS, Aspen IP.21, an
  • Knowledge of measurement transmitter and control valve theory
