Overview

A nationally leading law firm in San Francisco is seeking a contract litigation attorney for a three-to-six month on-site engagement. The attorney will support two senior partners and work in various practice areas of litigation, depending on candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Support senior partners in litigation cases
  • Manage independent litigation components
  • Draft dispositive motions and oppose summary judgments
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
  • Handle discovery management tasks
  • Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel

Required skills

  • 3-6 years of litigation experience in California state and/or federal court
  • Strong motion practice
  • Experience with injunctive relief and high-stakes commercial/employment matters
  • Knowledge of California employment statutes and federal law
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Active California Bar membership or ability to obtain prompt admission
