Overview

The Consultant position in Corporate Finance at BRG focuses on providing strategic and financial advice to clients in transition or underperforming, including private equity firms and management teams. The ideal candidate will engage in turnaround advisory assignments, utilizing strong financial modeling and analytical skills to support day-to-day activities within client service teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Support client service teams on engagements in Turnaround & Restructuring
  • Execute tasks across consulting engagements, including financial modeling and client presentations
  • Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to achieve engagement objectives
  • Assist in marketing, client pitches, and practice development

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management or related field
  • 4+ years of work experience in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Experience in financial modeling and analysis, including three-statement models and cash flow modeling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team
  • CFA, CPA, or equivalent accounting expertise is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed
