Overview

The Consultant - Corporate Finance - Turnaround and Restructuring position at Berkeley Research Group involves providing strategic, operational, and financial advice to clients such as private equity firms and management teams. The role focuses on turnaround advisory assignments across various industries, requiring strong financial modeling and analysis skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day activities of client service teams in Turnaround & Restructuring engagements
  • Execute consulting tasks including modeling and client presentations
  • Develop 13-week cash flow models, 3-statement models, and pro-forma scenario models
  • Prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables
  • Assist in marketing, client pitches, and product and practice development

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 4+ years of work experience in consulting or professional services
  • Experience in financial modeling and analysis, particularly in Excel
  • Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • CFA, CPA, or technical/GAAP accounting expertise is a plus
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Willingness to travel as needed

What the company offers

  • $90,000 to $160,000 yearly salary
