Overview

The Construction Supervisor at Four Square Industrial Constructors will lead and supervise construction crews and subcontractors in a manufacturing setting. This role involves managing daily job assignments and ensuring that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and production standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day activities of in-house construction crews
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Assign work based on crew skills and project requirements
  • Conduct job site inspections and coordinate materials procurement
  • Collaborate with plant management and maintenance teams
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders and material usage
  • Train and mentor crew members
  • Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot on-site problems

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on and supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing facility environments
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
  • OSHA safety training certification (e.g., OSHA 30)
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
