Overview

As a Construction Superintendent at Wallick Communities, you will oversee the completion of new multi-family construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This full-time role is situated in Northwood, Ohio, and emphasizes a supportive, employee-owned culture dedicated to creating affordable housing.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct all field contractors to complete projects on schedule and within budget
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Manage construction schedules and resolve project-related problems
  • Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary
  • Prepare and oversee the completion of the final punch list
  • Encourage safe work practices and resolve site hazards
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards
  • Maintain an organized job site

Required skills

  • Minimum of five years experience with multi-family construction
  • Experience with scheduling, ordering materials, and field supervision
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Comfortable interacting with architects, engineers, and government officials
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with project management software, specifically Procore
  • Strong listening, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports
