Overview

Barringer Construction is seeking a Construction Senior Project Manager based in Raleigh, NC, to lead complex commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent client relations, and a commitment to mentoring team members as the company continues to build its reputation as a leading employee-owned construction firm in the Carolinas.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent commercial construction projects
  • Manage budget, schedule, and construction plans to ensure project success
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and create accurate budgets and cost projections
  • Mentor and develop junior project management staff
  • Anticipate project challenges and help teams navigate risks
  • Represent Barringer in client meetings and presentations

Required skills

  • 8-10+ years of commercial construction management experience
  • Leadership and team-building abilities
  • Strong business acumen in budgeting and cost management
  • Advanced skills in Procore and proficiency in Viewpoint
  • Command of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
