Overview

Barringer Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Greenville, SC, to lead multiple complex commercial construction projects and drive client relationships. The ideal candidate will leverage strong leadership, business acumen, and a mentorship mindset to guide project teams and ensure successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent commercial construction projects from pursuit through closeout.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Drive pursuit interviews, pricing efforts, and strategic decisions.
  • Negotiate contracts, create budgets, and develop cost projections.
  • Execute timely buyout and lead project closeout.
  • Mentor and develop junior project managers and engineers.
  • Anticipate and navigate project challenges proactively.
  • Represent the company in client meetings and presentations.

Required skills

  • 8-10+ years of commercial construction management experience
  • Advanced Procore skills; Procore certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Viewpoint
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
  • Leadership and team-building abilities
  • Business acumen around budgets, contracts, and cost projections
