Overview

Kiely Family of Companies is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to enhance safety measures within their construction operations in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on conducting safety audits, facilitating training, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards in the utility construction sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct safety audits of crews and toolbox talks
  • Assist with annual Federal and DOT Compliance Training
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Monitor jobsite safety performance and incident investigations
  • Document audit results and recommend solutions to hazardous conditions
  • Investigation of personal injury and property damage claims
  • Maintain compliant FMCSA driver qualification files
  • Update safety and training information in relevant systems
  • Assist with Drug and Alcohol, Workers Compensation, and Modified Duty Programs

Required skills

  • 5+ years of utility construction experience
  • Knowledge of safety training and OSHA regulations
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with classroom style training
  • Knowledge of underground utilities installation
  • Experience with DOT Operator Qualification
