Overview

Berkshire Search Partners is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a leading organization in engineering, construction, and infrastructure. This role, based in Atlanta, GA, involves overseeing large-scale EPC projects, ensuring successful delivery in terms of safety, quality, cost, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day construction activities for EPC and construction management projects
  • Oversee project safety, quality, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control efforts
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Support project planning, staffing, forecasting, and execution strategies
  • Manage subcontractor agreements, RFPs, change orders, and contract administration
  • Maintain client relationships and support project communication efforts
  • Track project progress, documentation, reporting, and field operations
  • Lead project closeout, commissioning support, and turnover activities
  • Mentor project personnel and support field team development
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and project requirements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Construction, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of project management experience within construction or EPC environments
  • Experience managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and forecasting
  • Contract and subcontractor management experience
  • Experience working on active construction sites and coordinating field operations
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
