Overview

Berkshire Search Partners is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale EPC projects in Atlanta, GA. This role requires managing all phases of construction from pre-construction to closeout, with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day construction activities for EPC and construction management projects
  • Oversee project safety, quality, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control efforts
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Support project planning, staffing, forecasting, and execution strategies
  • Manage subcontractor agreements, RFPs, change orders, and contract administration
  • Maintain client relationships and support project communication efforts
  • Track project progress, documentation, reporting, and field operations
  • Lead project closeout, commissioning support, and turnover activities
  • Mentor project personnel and support field team development
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and project requirements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of project management experience in construction or EPC environments
  • Experience managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and construction execution
  • Contract and subcontractor management experience
  • Experience on active construction sites and coordinating field operations
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
