Overview

Jackson Dean Construction is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee various construction projects, particularly in big box retail and site development. The role involves managing all aspects of projects from planning to implementation while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to achieve cost-effective solutions
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship according to plans and specifications
  • Manage construction projects from start to finish
  • Develop project schedules and budgets
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Oversee quality control and project delivery

Required skills

  • Experience in change orders and submittals
  • Knowledge of construction management and civil engineering
  • Ability to read architectural design and specifications
