Overview

Pella Windows and Doors by Horne is seeking a motivated Construction Project Manager to lead their installation builder services operation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The role involves overseeing operations for new residential construction programs, ensuring projects meet quality standards, and enhancing builder and homeowner experiences. The position also encompasses team leadership, financial management, and cross-functional collaboration to support the company's growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead installation operations including internal crews and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards
  • Establish and maintain scalable installation processes and workflows
  • Monitor job performance and implement process improvements
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for service issues
  • Partner with builders and contractors for alignment on schedules and execution
  • Recruit, train, and develop installation crews and team leaders
  • Manage installation budgets and job profitability
  • Track key performance indicators and drive operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership teams on growth initiatives

Required skills

  • Experience in window/door or specialty construction trades
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and subcontractors
