Overview

The Construction Project Engineer at Con-Real will assist in the management of various construction projects throughout their lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closeout. This role emphasizes client satisfaction, project quality, cost control, and effective team collaboration with Project Managers and Superintendents.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of construction projects through various phases
  • Ensure client satisfaction, project quality, and cost control
  • Administer and manage shop drawings, submittals, and the RFI process
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and material vendors for service and material delivery
  • Prepare correspondence, meeting minutes, and task lists as directed
  • Assist Project Manager with distribution of project documentation
  • Support the Superintendent in managing daily jobsite operations

Required skills

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of commercial construction processes
  • Experience in projects valued at $100 million
  • Preferred knowledge in electrical systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling programs like Microsoft Project or Suretrak
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
