Job Description

Overview

The Construction Project Coordinator at Progressive Roofing is responsible for supporting project management tasks within the construction trades. The role requires a proactive individual with a minimum of three years of project coordination experience, offering assistance in various administrative functions and ensuring effective communication with customers and team members.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up awarded contract jobs in company software programs (Sage and FCS)
  • Gather cost estimates and enter into Sage
  • Provide customers with copies of insurance certificates, W9 forms, lien release waivers, and warranty documentation as appropriate
  • Create and send workmanship warranty documents and assist in the submission of warranty requests
  • Progress bill and invoice completed jobs
  • Assist with the collection of past-due invoices

Required skills

  • Minimum three years of experience as a project coordinator in construction
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions within the same day
  • Support for multiple managers
  • Effective independent and team collaboration
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Background in roofing/construction industry
  • Experience with Sage 300/Timberline, Workmax, and Kronos is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
