Overview

The Construction Manager at CMTS LLC will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction and renovation projects within occupied facilities. This role involves managing contractors, schedules, budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and with minimal disruption to operations. Key responsibilities

  • Oversee construction of new facilities and renovation of existing facilities
  • Ensure compliance with governmental codes and specifications
  • Monitor project quality, budget, schedule, and compliance through regular site visits
  • Identify and communicate cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, design teams, consultants, and vendors
  • Review proposed change orders for accuracy and supporting documentation
  • Advise leadership regarding operational improvements and team effectiveness
  • Assist with mentoring, training, and development of team members

Required skills

  • Ten years of professional experience in construction administration and design review
  • Strong knowledge of construction, renovation, and rebuilding techniques
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and conflict management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and solve problems
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Procore
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
