Overview

American Fence Company, Inc. is seeking a Construction Foreman for their Orlando location. The role involves managing the installation, removal, and repair of rental fence panels, while also ensuring customer satisfaction and safety compliance. Candidates should have a reliable work ethic and proven leadership skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare site area for fence installation
  • Understand and follow utility safety requirements
  • Align and verify vertical alignment of posts
  • Pound posts into various surfaces using equipment
  • Install and stabilize privacy and rental fence panels per specifications
  • Field repair temporary fence panels and broken post braces
  • Transport and load materials safely
  • Communicate with customers regarding site specifications
  • Ensure compliance with site specifications by crew and subcontractors
  • Complete necessary administrative paperwork and safety checks

Required skills

  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with air, hand, and power tools
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • 1 year of heavy construction experience
  • 1+ years of experience driving large commercial vehicles (non-CDL)
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • Prior fencing experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
