Overview

American Fence Company is seeking a Construction Foreman to manage the installation, removal, and repair of rental fence panels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or fencing and demonstrate reliability, leadership, and customer service skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare the site area for fence installation
  • Ensure compliance with underground utility safety prior to installation
  • Align and pound posts into the ground using various tools
  • Install and stabilize rental fence panels according to customer specifications
  • Field repair temporary fence panels and broken post braces as needed
  • Inspect all panels for damage and manage customer work orders
  • Operate forklift and company vehicles while adhering to DOT regulations
  • Complete administrative tasks such as employee timesheets and safety checklists

Required skills

  • Experience in heavy construction (1 year required)
  • Supervisory experience (1 year plus)
  • Prior fencing experience preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Mastery with air, hand, and power tools
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
