Overview

American Fence Company is seeking a Construction Foreman to manage the installation, removal, and repair of rental fence panels. This role involves overseeing site preparation, ensuring safety compliance, and leading a team to deliver high-quality work while interacting with customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare site area for fence installation
  • Locate and understand underground utility markings
  • Align and verify vertical alignment of posts
  • Pound posts into ground using machinery
  • Attach support rails to posts
  • Install rental fence panels per customer specifications
  • Field repair temporary fence panels
  • Inspect and tag damaged panels
  • Drive company truck to job sites
  • Complete administrative tasks and safety checklists

Required skills

  • Experience in heavy construction (1 year required)
  • Supervisory experience (1+ years required)
  • Fencing experience preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Mastery with air, hand, and power tools
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
