Overview

The Construction Field Inspector at SIBER FACADE GROUP INC will be responsible for ensuring compliance with construction drawings and specifications in the installation of facades, window walls, and glazing systems. This role requires conducting inspections throughout the construction process while maintaining detailed records and collaborating with project teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect facades, window walls, and glazing installations for compliance with specifications
  • Conduct field inspections during various construction stages
  • Review project documentation and maintain inspection records
  • Identify deficiencies and document corrective actions
  • Verify completion of corrective work according to standards
  • Participate in pre-testing inspections for building envelope systems
  • Investigate service requests related to facade and glazing systems
  • Prepare internal reports and maintain photographic documentation
  • Liaise with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors on quality issues
  • Ensure inspections comply with safety regulations and company procedures

Required skills

  • 2 years of experience in construction inspection or quality control
  • Knowledge of curtain wall and glazing system installation
  • College diploma or university degree in construction, civil engineering, or architectural technology
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Proficiency in project documentation
