Overview

CFS is seeking a Construction Billing Specialist in San Antonio, Texas, to manage the billing cycle for various projects in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team that values accuracy and communication.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the full billing cycle for projects from setup through invoicing and revisions
  • Review contracts, change orders, and supporting documentation to ensure billing accuracy
  • Prepare and issue invoices across multiple formats
  • Work closely with project managers and clients to resolve billing questions or discrepancies
  • Keep billing records organized, including proposals, job setups, and documentation
  • Participate in billing reviews and ensure deadlines are met

Required skills

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (5+ years in billing or accounting)
  • Experience with project-based billing, ideally in construction or a similar environment
  • Understanding of billing workflows and shared services environments
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and accounting systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
