Overview

As a Human Resources Advisor at Laiterie Charlevoix, you'll be the sole HR professional in a family-run business that has been established since 1948. This role involves being a strategic partner in enhancing HR practices and supporting the company's growth, fostering a healthy and engaging work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as an HR partner to managers on daily issues, labor relations, disciplinary cases, and internal communications
  • Manage the entire staffing process including job postings, interviews, hiring, and new employee integration
  • Take an active role in health and safety management, including accident files and return-to-work follow-ups
  • Participate in the evolution of HR practices, including internal policies and performance management
  • Contribute to a human and motivating corporate culture through recognition initiatives and internal activities
  • Maintain proximity with teams through occasional travel to various sites

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or industrial relations
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • CRHA membership (an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and health and safety regulations
  • Experience in a multi-site environment (an asset)
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Leadership and collaborative approach
  • Autonomy, rigor, and prioritization skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Good judgment and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Human, ethical, and professional approach
