Overview

Go RH is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join Laiterie Charlevoix, a family-owned company since 1948 known for its high-quality Quebec cheeses. The role involves acting as the sole HR professional, supporting the company's growth and maintaining a healthy work environment while optimizing HR practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as HR partner to managers, addressing daily challenges and internal communications
  • Manage the entire recruitment process including job postings, interviews, onboarding, and payroll administration
  • Play an active role in workplace health and safety including accident management and compliance
  • Contribute to the evolution of HR practices, policies, and organizational structure
  • Promote a human and engaging company culture through recognition initiatives and internal activities
  • Maintain proximity with teams through occasional site visits

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or industrial relations
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • CRHA membership (an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and health and safety regulations
  • Experience in a multi-site environment (an asset)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual in French and English (functional)
  • Leadership and collaborative skills
  • Autonomy, rigor, and prioritization
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality
  • Good judgment and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Human, ethical, and professional approach
