Overview

Amrize is looking for a Concrete Form Worker to join their Road Construction Team in Regina, Saskatchewan. This role involves constructing essential transportation infrastructure, where you'll engage in various tasks related to concrete formwork, ensuring safety and quality in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine form specifications.
  • Measure and cut materials such as lumber and plywood according to project requirements.
  • Assemble and secure forms in place using nails, bolts, or screws.
  • Pour and spread concrete into forms, using hand tools to smooth and finish surfaces.
  • Remove forms after concrete has set and prepare them for reuse.
  • Inspect forms and formwork to identify and repair defects.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on-site.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience as a form worker or carpenter
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and cutting materials
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy objects
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
