Overview

E-Z Bel Construction is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher/Form Setter for their team in San Antonio, Texas. This position involves skilled tasks in building, setting, and aligning formwork for various concrete structures, ensuring precise placement and finishing of concrete to meet specified requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and follow layouts and formwork designs provided by the Foreman or Survey crew
  • Set, align, and brace wood, steel, and SIM forms for concrete flatwork and structures
  • Install form hardware, wall ties, and rebar according to specifications
  • Use tools to confirm elevation, slope, and alignment
  • Cut and prepare form materials to required dimensions
  • Screed and finish concrete using appropriate tools
  • Operate construction equipment safely
  • Coordinate with concrete truck drivers for project execution
  • Maintain clean and hazard-free work areas
  • Perform traffic control and flagging duties as necessary
  • Complete other assigned duties

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in concrete form setting and finishing
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layouts
  • Skilled with hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of ADA, TxDOT, and standard concrete specifications
  • Valid driver's license preferred
