Overview

Amrize is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join their team in Saskatoon, SK. In this role, you will be responsible for placing and finishing concrete for various construction projects, including flatwork and curb & gutter, while ensuring safety and quality in your work.

Key responsibilities

  • Place and finish concrete in flatwork or curb projects
  • Ensure quality of finished work
  • Set forms for grade and design
  • Operate small power tools
  • Prepare base for final grade and compaction
  • Assist in demolition of existing concrete
  • Check work and ensure adherence to safety protocols
  • Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before tasks
  • Participate in daily safety meetings
  • Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in concrete placement
  • Experience with power tools
  • Experience with mobile equipment
  • Safety oriented
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays
  • Ability to work unsupervised and collaboratively
  • Good communication skills
