Overview

Energy Panel Structures, Inc. is seeking a District Sales Manager for their Perryville, Missouri facility. The role involves selling building components and pre-engineered wood frame structures while managing customer relationships and developing new business in a specified territory.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face sales with General Contractors, Framers, Homebuilders, Commercial Builders, and Project Investors.
  • Prepare and present bids, proposals, and estimates.
  • Make sales calls to former and prospective customers to secure sales and necessary documentation.
  • Analyze sales area opportunities and conduct marketing focus within the assigned territory.
  • Aggressively prospect and cold call to identify and develop new clients.
  • Document leads and account conversations in the CRM system.
  • Maintain awareness of marketing plans and competition in the territory.

Required skills

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in sales or customer service.
  • 2 years in construction contracting business.
  • 3 years minimum experience in building component sales.
  • 5 years in direct sales or equivalent experience.
  • Strong presentation, influence, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to maintain customer relationships.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook applications.
  • Knowledge of building construction industry and ability to read building drawings.
