Overview

WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Compliance Safety Technologist is responsible for maintaining continuous compliance with applicable certification and regulatory requirements, including UL Initial Production Inspection (IPI), Follow-Up Services (FUS) audits, and Customer Test Facility (CTF) laboratory audits. This role serves as the primary coordinator for audit preparation, execution, and corrective action management, ensuring timely and effective responses to audit findings.In addition, you will provide hands-on support for compliance testing activities within the liquid cooling laboratory, including test setup, test execution support, laboratory operations, and equipment maintenance to ensure efficient and compliant testing activities.Responsibilities Maintain compliance with UL certifications and regulatory requirements, including IPI, FUS, CTF, and related quality standards. Coordinate and support UL and CTF audits by preparing documentation, serving as the audit liaison, maintaining audit readiness, and tracking audit activities to completion. Review audit findings, support root cause investigations, coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Provide hands-on support during testing, including monitoring equipment, collecting data, recording observations, and ensuring adherence to approved test plans and applicable standards. Manage test samples, laboratory supplies, equipment accessories, and safety materials to maintain smooth laboratory operations. Support the maintenance, calibration, organization, and documentation of laboratory equipment, fixtures, tools, and test resources in accordance with quality requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment while contributing to improvements in testing efficiency, compliance performance, and operational effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support certification projects, regulatory compliance activities, testing schedules, and training initiatives. WHO YOU ARE: Basic Qualifications: Diploma in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, Applied Sciences, or a related technical discipline. 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, certification, laboratory testing, quality assurance, audit coordination, or related technical roles. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting UL certification programs, IPI/FUS audits, or Customer Test Facility (CTF) operations preferred. Experience working in thermal management, liquid cooling systems, data center infrastructure, electronics, or industrial product testing environments is considered an asset. Knowledge of UL certification processes, IPI/FUS requirements, and CTF laboratory operations. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 quality systems. Experience with thermocouple installation, temperature monitoring systems, and data acquisition equipment. Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive, hands-on approach. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation. Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Capable of managing multiple priorities and working independently in a fast-paced, evolving production setting.
