Overview

The Compliance Analyst at Career Transitions, LLC will support global product compliance initiatives for industrial electrical products. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who thrives in cross-functional collaboration to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance on a global scale.

Key responsibilities

  • Researching, interpreting, and implementing industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Supporting new product development efforts related to compliance and certification
  • Maintaining and managing product certification documentation
  • Communicating with external certification bodies regarding applications, testing, and approvals
  • Monitoring compliance project timelines and deliverables
  • Coordinating and supporting internal and external audits, including documentation and follow-ups
  • Organizing and managing short-term compliance-related projects
  • Partnering with laboratory teams to ensure adherence to best practices and standards
  • Preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and providing updates to leadership
  • Ensuring engineering procedures are properly followed and documented

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic and international)
  • Experience with product compliance or regulatory standards (preferred)
  • Familiarity with electric motors or industrial electrical products (preferred)
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience or certification (preferred)
