Overview

Gumenick Management Company is seeking a Community Manager for their new Wrighthaven Square Apartments in Richmond, Virginia. The role encompasses various responsibilities including financial reporting, market analysis, and office administration, along with supervising on-site associates.

Key responsibilities

  • Create annual operating budget and approve invoices
  • Generate weekly and monthly activity reports
  • Manage income and expenses related to the property
  • Use Yardi software for financial reporting
  • Monitor delinquencies and handle bank deposits
  • Conduct market analysis and recommend cost-effective measures
  • Ensure safety and maintenance of units and common areas
  • Train office staff and approve lease applications
  • Supervise on-site associates and ensure compliance with fair housing laws

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management or related field
  • 5 years of property management experience or 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Supervisory and strong administrative skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Yardi software
  • Excellent problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills
