Overview

Wallick Communities is seeking a part-time Community Manager for French Lick Apartments. This role involves leading a team in providing exceptional housing services for residents while supporting the company's mission to offer affordable and high-quality housing options. With a strong emphasis on employee ownership and community engagement, the position promises personal and professional fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals.
  • Process community staff payroll.
  • Ensure collections of all monies due to the community are received and deposited.
  • Maintain acceptable levels of occupancy (minimum 98%).
  • Review rental applications for approval.
  • Complete move-out paperwork according to governing regulations.
  • Perform unit move-out, annual, and housekeeping inspections.
  • Audit resident files for completeness and correctness.
  • Timely completion of reports required by relevant authorities.
  • Maintain the community to company standards.

Required skills

  • 1+ year previous experience as a residential property manager or 3 years in a general manager position.
  • Experience with HUD/Section 8 is a plus.
  • High school diploma or associate's degree preferred.
  • Dependability and reliable transportation.
  • Strong commitment to resident service.
  • Deadline driven with careful attention to detail and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Yardi is a plus.
